In partnership with the Sponsor, we direct Leatherback-level donations to support workshops, special sessions, plenary speakers, social events, and symposium-wide coffee breaks.

Benefits to the Sponsor:

• Sponsor’s logo is displayed on the front cover of the ISTS program, ensuring high visibility.
• Logo is projected at the largest size and most prominent locations during breaks and prior to each oral session, ensuring saturation exposure for all participants.
• Logo is displayed prominently on the ISTS website before, during, and after registration; sponsor logo is also hyperlinked to sponsor website to bring attendees to the website when clicked.

*Leatherbacks are the largest turtle in the world and are the only species of sea turtle that lack scales and a hard shell.

*The loggerhead turtle is named for its large head, which supports powerful jaw muscles that enable them to feed on hard-shelled invertebrate prey.

In partnership with the Sponsor, we direct Hawksbill-level donations to support workshops, special sessions, audiovisual equipment, plenary speakers, social events and symposium-wide coffee breaks.

*Hawksbill turtles get their name from their unique beak-like bill, resembling that of a hawk - useful in consuming their main prey of reef sponges.

In partnership with the Sponsor, we direct Green-level donations to support workshops, special sessions, audiovisual equipment rental and social events. This level of support may also go to supporting printing costs and ground transportation.

*The green sea turtle is the largest hard-shelled sea turtle and is herbivorous, eating mostly seagrasses and algae.

Kemp’s Ridley-level donations are used to support workshops, special sessions, program printing, audiovisual rental, cost of student travel, and travel of participants from developing countries. Sponsors have the option to designate the gift for use as travel funds and specify a particular group to support (e.g., students from Central America or participants from Africa).

*Kemp’s Ridley are found mostly in the Gulf of Mexico and are the smallest species of sea turtle in the world.

Olive Ridley level donations help defray the cost of workshops, printing, student awards, student travel, and travel of participants from developing countries.

*Olive Ridley turtles get their name from the olive-green color of their shell. This species is among the smallest of marine species and are found primarily in tropical oceans.

Flatback level donations are used to help defray the cost of workshops, printing, student awards, student travel, and travel of participants from developing countries.

*Flatbacks are known to occur only in the waters around Australia. They get their name from the relatively flattened curvature of their shell.
